Ready to Work? We’re Here to Help

Looking for a job in the UK can be tricky—especially if you’re new here or if English isn’t your first language. At Pars Community Action, we help refugees and asylum seekers get ready for work, step by step.

Let’s Build Your CV Together

Your CV is the first thing employers see. It needs to show your skills, work history and who you are. Don’t worry if you’ve never made one before—we’ll help you from start to finish.
In our CV writing sessions, we’ll help you:
  • Pick the right words
  • Show your skills, even if you’ve never had a job
  • Keep your CV clear and neat
  • Add work or study you’ve done in your home country
  • We’ll also help you write a cover letter to go with it.

Practice for Interviews

Interviews can feel scary—but you don’t have to do it alone. We’ll help you practise answering questions, speaking clearly and feeling calm.

You’ll learn:
  • What to say about your past work
  • How to speak with confidence
  • How to dress and act professionally
We can even set up mock interviews so you can practise before the real thing.

Find the Right Job

We work with job centres and local businesses to help you find good job leads. Whether it’s your first job or you’re starting again, we’ll connect you to people who are hiring.
We also share job tips, Zoom workshops and success stories from others who found jobs with our help.
