About Us

At Pars Community Action, we’re dedicated to offering quick, dependable, and people-first support that makes everyday challenges easier to handle. Whether you need help with documents, housing, or finding work, our mission is to serve you with trust, ease, and compassion—every time you reach out to us.

Our Story

Pars Community Action began in 2006 with one goal: to help people feel safe, supported and strong in a new country. It started with a small group of volunteers, led by Dr Hajibaba Rahmanyfar, who saw that many refugees and asylum seekers needed help—but didn’t know where to go.

Back then, Pars didn’t have any grant money or paid staff. Still, the team worked hard every day—offering free advice, translating letters and helping people find their way. For over a decade, Pars grew through care, trust and teamwork.

A Message from Our Founder

“My dream was simple: to give people hope when they feel lost. Everyone deserves help, respect and a chance to build a better life,” says Dr Rahmanyfar, who started this journey with a strong belief in service.

Dr Rahmanyfar is registered with the Solicitors Regulation Authority (No. 839092). Over the years, he has supported people inside prisons, worked with Birmingham City Council and teamed up with West Midlands Police. His deep care and action have changed many lives for the better.

Our Team

Today, Pars Community Action includes a group of kind and helpful volunteers who give their time, energy and heart. Some are students, some are professionals and many have walked the same path as the people we now support.

We also partner with trusted groups like job centres, community leaders, legal advisors and health workers—so people who come to us get more help in one place.
